1970 Lines (2025)

A discarded shelf board triggers collective memories of the warm colors and patterns of 1970s and 1980s kitchen designs.
The work shows how individual actions - discarding, finding, reworking - fit into larger communal movements and spaces of memory.
From remnants, a dialogue emerges about our shared past and the longing for supposedly simpler times that we associate with these decades today.
Acrylic on veneered chipboard (shelf board, found object), 35 × 42.5 cm
